The Irish Association for Social, Scientific and Environmental Education (IASSEE) brings together those working in teacher education and educational research in the fields of history, geography and science.
Learning for the Twenty-First Century: From Research to Practice
With the passing of the first decade of the new millennium it is timely to consider how the latest approaches to educational practice and research address the needs of the learner in the twenty-first century. The 10th IASSEE annual conference will bring together teachers and educational researchers to share their practices and perspectives on the most recent innovations in the teaching of History, Geography and Science. Call for Papers
Keynote presentations and both paper and poster presentations will describe current research, with exemplars of engaging and creative approaches provided in a number of workshops.
This year’s conference will also include a post-graduate forum, for students to present work on on-going masters and Ph.D. research.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is Friday the 3rd December 2010. Download Abstract Submission Form (pdf).
