MA in Humanities
The Department of French offers an MA in Humanities by Major Thesis. Proposals for research in the following areas will be welcomed:
Digital & Internet Literature in French
Prosody, Versification and Modern Poetry
French Prose Poetry and écriture artiste
Fantasy and Travel Literature
French Short Fiction, especially 19th Century
Belgian Poetry in French
Photography and writing, including French street photography
Paris in film and/or text
The Works of Patrick Modiano and Agnès Varda
French and Québécois Fiction and Autobiography, mainly post-1970
Second-Language Acquisition
Language Variation
Sociolinguistics Aspects in Second-Language Acquisition
Language and Gender
Francophone North African Literature & Beur Literature
ICT and Second-Language Learning
