First Year Modules

Lecture times:
Monday 9, [Wednesday 9 & 10 - Geog 103 slot, only for BA students], Thursday 11.10, Friday 10

Lectures take place in E201, except on Wednesdays. Wednesday lectures take place in the Auditorium. From 19 October 2011, the Wednesday slot (9-11) will be used by Geog 103. Please see the Geography noticeboards for details.

• 101 An Introduction to Human Geography (1st Semester)

In this course you will be introduced to a range of key themes in human geography. All members of the department are involved in teaching the course, so you will have the opportunity to get to know us all, and learn something about our different specialist areas, with Drs Almar Barry and Jonathan Cherry taking the lead.

• 102 Introducing the Physical Environment (2nd Semester) begins Monday 23 January @ 9am in E201

• 103 Geographical Skills (BA only) resumes Wednesday 25 January @ 9am in D318. See below for Block 4 times. Block 5 times will be explained in class. Please check noticeboard / Moodle for group details.
