Congratulations to all successful SPD HEAR applicants! We look forward to seeing you at our Orientation Programme in early September. You should receive further details by post this week.

SPD Access Programme
The Access Office was introduced to broaden the profile of students taking the B. Ed. degree course and thereby encourage students from areas experiencing socio-economic disadvantage to become primary school teachers. We also admit students to the B A (Humanities) course through the programme. The Access Office works closely with the Registrar's Office, the Admissions Office and other Student Support Services. Entry is based on successfully meeting the HEAR criteria for assessment and on Leaving Certificate results. Successful candidates will be offered a place in Round One of CAO offers. Participating students apply both through the CAO and directly to the College.The Access programme is open to students from all second level schools nationally.
