The Student Counselling Service is available to all registered students of St. Patrick's College free of charge. It is a confidential service. The role of this service is to provide you with support and help you increase your coping resources in order to deal with academic and personal problems that may arise while you are attending this college.
Students seek counselling for help with a variety of problems. The following are some examples: transition from home to college, performance anxiety re: teaching practice, exam anxiety, deferring, study difficulties, relationship problems, family difficulties, pregnancy, stress, anxiety, panic attacks, addiction, eating issues, bereavement, depression and trauma related issues such as abuse, assault and rape.

- Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:00
- Closed for lunch between 13:00 - 14:00
