Erasmus/International Study Abroad
Outgoing -
Students from second year go on study visits, usually for three or four months in the second semester to the EU Colleges/Universities listed.
Student can also go to the USA where we have agreements with Universities but this is not part of the Erasmus programme and is not covered by a grant from the HEA.
3rd year students can also go on a full year study visit and will be conferred after their fourth year with a BA/BEd International Degree.

U.S.A.
University of Mississippi, Merrimack College, Boston, University of Northern Colorado and California State University.
Japan
The College has for some years had successful exchange agreements with these "partner-universities". These colleges offer courses suitable for all students of St Patrick's College. Many are engaged in teacher education and offer courses both in Education and the academic courses. Successful applicants do not pay fees in the host university.

The Just Landed website contains extensive country guides written specifically for expatriates. These country guides include information on housing, visas, health, education, culture and moving. There is also have an online community, where expatriates can ask questions, share experiences about living abroad and network in specific country and city forums. Besides that, the webpage offers housing and jobs ads for expatriates.
