33rd Reading Association of Ireland Conference at St Patrick's College

The 33rd annual conference of the Reading Association of Ireland takes place at St Patricks College, Drumcondra from Thursday, September 24th, to Saturday, September 26th.  The theme is Literacy in the 21st Century: Perspectives, Challenges and Transformations.

There will be presentations on a range of topics including children's literature, literacy assessment, handwriting, and teaching reading in disadvantaged schools.  Keynote speakers include Siobhan Parkinson, Teresa Cremin, Eithne Kennedy, Peter Afflerbach, and Kathy Hall.  Full details on www.reading.ie or contact hilary.walshe@erc.ie
