St Patrick's College Alumnus appointed Taoiseach

St Patrick's College extends heartiest congratulations to Enda Kenny, TD, who was appointed Taoiseach today by President McAleese. Enda was a member of the St Patrick's College class of 1970.

In a historic day, two other College alumni were appointed to the Cabinet as senior Government ministers - Michael Noonan, TD (Class of 1963) as Minister for Finance; and Brendan Howlin, TD (Class of 1975), Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform. The College extends its congratulations and good wishes to all three distinguished alumni.

Congratulations also to other graduates of St Patrick's College elected to the 31st Dáil, these include:

Michael Kitt (a classmate of Enda Kenny in 1970), Dinny McGinley, Joe O'Reilly, Robert Dowds, Finian McGrath.
