CAO Deadline: Undergraduate Admissions 2007

 

The early closing date for CAO applications to our BA (PD103) and B.Ed.(PD 101), and B.Ed (PD 102 - Gaeltacht applicants ) degrees for entry in 2007 is 1 February 2007.   Applicants should check the minimum entry requirements on our admissions website before applying.   The minimum cut-off points for 2006 were as follows: BA (PD 103): 390;* B.Ed. (PD 101), 455,* B.Ed. 425 (PD 102)*

Our BA in Humanities degree has been run successfully in the College since 1993, it is a level 8 qualification, and as such facilitates entry to direct employment and postgraduate courses such as the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (primary), the Higher Diploma in Education (secondary), other postgraduate or higher diplomas and  masters degrees.

Mature Applicants

For mature applicants who wish to apply through the CAO, the deadline, cut-off points and minimum entry requirements referred to above apply.   Students who wish to be considered for a place on mature grounds should apply directly to the College on the College Mature Student application form, available mid February, deadline 2 April 2007.   Mature applicants should check the mature students section of this site for further information www.spd.dcu.ie/adultweb.
