Boxer Darren O'Neill, College Graduate Qualifies for 2012 London Olympics

St Patrick's College Graduate Darren O'Neill qualified for the 30th Olympiad by reaching the quater-finals at the World Championships and Olympic qualifiers in Baku, Azerbaijan last month. Having completed the BA in Humanities here in St Patricks, he went on to do the Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary Teaching) and qualified as a primary school teacher in 2009. He was the Silver medal winner at the 2010 European Championships.
