Comenius Intensive Programme

A Comenius Intensive programme took place in St Patrick’s College for two weeks January 25th to February 5th 2010. Coordinated by Frank Quinn from St Mary’s University College Belfast the topic was “Special Needs Education: participation in society”.  

Staff and also four students from each institution involved participated.  These included the host institution and St Patrick’s College, Dublin; the Universitatr Autonoma de Barcalona; the Professiohnschojskolen University College of Haderslav (Denmark); the Katholieke Hogeschool of West Flanders (Belgium); Windesheim University (Netherlands); the Arteveldehogeschool in Gent (Belgium); and the University of Gavle (Sweden).  St Patrick’s College student participants included students Sinead Flatley, Sinead Buggle, Erin Moran, and Deirdre McEvoy and staff member Dr Hugh Gash.
