Digital Humanities Talk
Dr Susan Schreibman as the Director of the Digital Humanities Observatory (DHO) one of the foremost authorities in the field of digital humanities, is giving a talk in St Patrick’s College, Tuesday 8 April at 1pm in the E Block Boardroom. She's a distinguished and highly respected scholar, and a pioneer in the field of digital humanities, spearheading many significant initiatives throughout her career.
Since St Patrick’s College is now part of the Humanities Serving Irish Society platform because of our strong membership in An Foras Feasa, Dr Schreibman has agreed to come and talk about exciting developments in digitization.
This is a terrific opportunity to see how IT can work not for humanities and education but also in our lives. Dr Schreibman is also an expert on virtual lives games.
This lecture is not confined to academic staff but it may be of
interest to people in IT, the Library and administrative staff - but anyone with an interest in virtual realities.
