'The Drumcondra Grand 1934-68, a Community Cinema'

Dr Ruth McManus, Geography Department, St Patrick’s College, gave a public talk on Wednesday 20th February as part of the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival's 'Dublin on Screen' programme, which celebrates Dublin cinemas, past, present and future.  The series of talks, presented in association with Dublin City Public Libraries, includes a range of contributors from former film censor Sheamus Smith to broadcaster Myles Dungan and writer Gerard Stembridge.  Ruth McManus's talk was entitled 'The Drumcondra Grand 1934-68, a Community Cinema'.
