Exhibition by Renowned Artist Geraldine O'Neill
An exhibition by renowned artist Geraldine O’Neill is currently running in the Draiocht in Blancharstown. O’Neill who has taught on many undergraduate workshops in St Patrick’s College, Drumcondra and is currently involved in the MEd programme works mainly in oil on canvas and her paintings are very sought after. Her exhibition is called Luan an tSleibhe and will run until 22 November.
The following is an extract from Brian Maguire’s introduction to the Catalogue:
‘The gaze and the values inherent in her work demonstrate thinking which is different from Grafton St. They refer to an essential truth of life via this dialectic of innocence and death. Another gesture of honesty. We are all the better for this work’
