Exhibition of Christmas Art Work
As in former years, the Christmas artwork of students, has been displayed around the college, notably in the church, the new display area in E Block and in the big canteen, enhanced by funding from the Quality Assurance fund.

The backdrop to the crib in the college chapel was made by first year BEd students.

Each first year BEd student created a Christmas mobile which was displayed in the Christmas installation in the big canteen. The display arrangement is similar to that used by Andrea Cleary in her exhibition at the 'Pop up Art Trail' at 9th Cashel Arts Festival in November where the idea was to use the vacant shop spaces in prominent locations in the town to exhibit artists' work.

A complete village, with its lighting effects, created by first year BEd students may be viewed in the new display area in the lobby of E Block.
Other artwork displayed include three dimensional Christmas scenes lit by battery packs in an integrated art-science project with second year BEd students. All of the art staff contributed generously of their time to facilitate the seasonal displays.
