Expanded First Year Induction Programme 2006

 

An expanded Induction Programme for all First Year BA and BEd students (approximately 600 in total) took place in the College on September 21st and 25th.  The programme included an introductory talk/welcome, small-group sessions focussing on adjusting to College life, presentations/discussion forums with current students, and tours of the campus.  The event was organised by the Student Support Services team, and facilitated by members of staff and current students, without whose generous participation it would not have been possible.  The programme was a great success - initial feedback suggesting that students found it extremely beneficial in helping them ‘settle in’ and easing their transition to college.
