Historic role for Ferriter

Dr Diarmaid Ferriter, Senior Lecturer in History, St Patrick's College, will be leaving the College at the end of the Summer to take up a Professorship of Modern Irish History at UCD, his alma mater. Diarmaid joined the staff of the College in 1999, and in his nine years on the staff of the College has written and published a number of bestselling books including The Transformation of Ireland 1900-2000, and more recently Judging Dev.
