ICT in the language Classroom: Showcasing an On-line Language Portfolio

On Tuesday the 19th of February, Mr Houssaine Afoullouss (French Department, St Patrick’s College) inaugurated a French Research Seminar Series with a presentation on ICT in the Language Classroom: Showcasing an On-line Language Portfolio.  The seminar attracted colleagues from various departments - including Irish, Maths and History to name just a few – as well as students and external visitors.  The questions and the discussion that followed the seminar showed that this area is attracting great interest both in terms of research and classroom practice.
