ILSA Conference - St Patrick's College staff papers
Over 400 teachers attended the Irish Learning Support Association (ILSA) conference in the College on 9 and 10 September on the theme “Enhancing Learning - Practical and Positive Strategies”. The keynote address was given by Clare Ryan, CEO of the National Education Welfare Board.
The following papers were presented by members of the College staff at the conference:

Dr Zita Lysaght and Dr Michael O'Leary - 'Formative Assessment at the Crossroads: Challenges and Opportunities for Irish teachers'
Dr Gerry Shiel - 'Literacy and Numeracy developed by the Educational Research Centre'
