Launch of The Irishness of Music

Publication of The Irishness of Music (Ashgate Publishing) was noted at a reception held at the Friends Meeting Room, Irish Film Institute on Friday 24th April. President Pauric Travers (St Patrick’s College) introduced formal proceedings which comprised a talk given by special guest Professor Farrel Corcoran (Dublin City University), followed by a response from the author, John O’Flynn (Music Department, St Patrick’s College).
