CHoICE Colleges make submission to Joint Committee on Education and Science

On 12 March, the Presidents of the Colleges of Education met with An Comhchoiste um Ghnóthaí Oideachais agus Eolaíochta in Leinster House.   A presentation was made to the Joint Committee by Dr Pauric Travers on behalf of the Colleges of Education, and was followed by a question and answers session.   The presentation focussed inter alia on issues of current concern to the Committee such as funding, tuition fees, and quality assurance, but also touched on issues of concern to the Colleges including investment in teacher education.
