President's Research Award to Professor Mark Morgan

Professor Ferdinand von Prondzynski, President of Dublin City University, presented a President’s Award for Research in Humanities and Social Sciences to Prof. Mark Morgan, St Patrick’s College, at an awards ceremony in the University on Thursday 4 February. Dr Morgan, Dean of Education in St Patrick’s College, was appointed Cregan Professor in 2009. The award is in recognition of his contribution to education research over many years.
This was the first year in which staff in the linked Colleges were eligible for the prestigious President's Research award. Other President’s Research Awards were also presented to:

Prof. Oliver Dolly, International Centre for Aerotherapeutics ~ Humanities and Social Sciences Award
Prof. Noel O’Connor, School of Electronic Engineering ~ Science and Engineering Award
