New Essays on Friel

 

'The Cambridge Companion to Brian Friel' had a double launch recently in the Irish Embassy in London and the Gate Theatre in Dublin. Dr Pat Burke, writing on 'Performance History in Friel', is one of a notable set of contributors. Among whom also is Thomas Kilroy, next in the Seamus Heaney lecture Series on Drama and Theatre, who will speak on 'The Irish Contribution' next Monday 13 November here in the College. An exciting piece of news for the College is that Brian Friel will attend this lecture.
