Norrkoping University International Week

Celia Keenan and Mary Shine Thompson, St Patrick’s College, Drumcondra were invited to present papers at the Norrkoping University an international week in February 2008.  Its theme was children's literature and Mary and Celia talked about children's literature in Ireland, including, classic Irish texts (such as the ninth-century Irish poem 'Pangur Bán', Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels and Oscar Wilde's Fairy Tales, as well as recent Irish books for children.
