Posters Exhibition at St Patrick's College

In an event jointly organised by the office of the Dean of Research and the St Patrick's Postgraduate Society, 14 PhD candidates from St Patrick's and Mater Dei Institute presented a poster exhibition of their ongoing research.  The exhibition took place in the conservatory of the Java Cafe on Mon 11th and Tues 12th May 2009.

At the opening ceremony on Monday evening St Patrick’s Dean of Research, Mary Shine Thompson, remarked on the value of an event like this in making the work of PhD candidates  known to the wider college community.  There was a great attendance at the exhibition and many visitors remarked on the variety of projects and the high standards of the poster presentations.
