Representations of Purgatory in Irish Literature and Culture

Representations of Purgatory in Irish Literature and Culture, an international conference organised by the Department of English, St Patrick’s College and l’Institut du Monde Anglophone, Université Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris 3, will take place from 9am on 26th and 27th November in D115 in St. Patrick’s College. Plenary Speakers include: Fintan O’Toole (Friday 26th at 6.30pm); Barry McGovern (Saturday 27th at 6.00); Professor Andrew Carpenter (UCD) (Friday at 12.30) and Dr. Derek Hand (SPD) (Saturday at 12.30). Reception: Friday at 7.30pm.
