Dr James Kelly, Head of the History Department, St Patrick's College has been awarded an honorary Research Professorship by Queens University Belfast. This is a rare distinction for outstanding scholars working with Queens on research projects.
A member of the Royal Irish Academy, Dr Kelly is one of the foremost historians of his generation.
