Annual Song Contest

The annual Song Context took place in the College Auditorium on Monday evening, 20 February 2006. A committee of students, headed up by Marion Doherty, Head of the Music Department in the College, organised the Contest. A panel of adjudicators, made up of staff, students, and an external adjudicator, judged 11 different entries. The standard from all participants was excellent.

Anne Nagle and the Bagels won first prize with their song "Apples" - the prize is recording time in a Professional Studio and a Silver Shield. 

Second prize (a Silver Shield) was awarded to "Behind Closed Doors" by Double Yellow line.

Third prize (a Silver Shield) went to "Tryin a be me" by Kenny G.
