St Pats Staff and Students to Feature in Archaeology Podcast
The first of four podcasts on this summer's excavations at Bective Abbey is now online.
The half-hour programme can be accessed though the Bective Abbey Project's blog – Bective.Wordpress.com – or you can download and subscribe to the podcasts on ITunes.
The series will allow the listener to join in on the new discoveries at Bective Abbey and its surroundings and find out what life on an excavation is really like.
The Bective Abbey excavations are co-directed by Matthew Stout of the history department and they are part funded by a generous grant from the research committee of St Patrick's College.
The podcasts are produced by Matthew's daughter Nóra Stout, as an action of the County Meath Heritage Plan 2007–2011 supported by Meath County Council. Listen out for some fine singing by third year B.Ed. student Noel Carey.
