Studia Hibernica
Studia Hibernica is an annual journal devoted to the study of the Irish language and its literature, of Irish history and Archaeology, Irish folklore and placenames, and related subjects. It aims to present the research of scholars in the various fields of Irish studies and to bring them within easy reach of each other and the wider public. It endeavours to provide in each issue a proportion of articles, such as surveys of periods in history or literature, which will be of general interest. A long reviews section is a special feature of the journal and all new publications within its scope are, reviewed by competent authorities.
Iris bhliantúil is ea Studia Hibernica ina ndéantar staidéar ar na nGaeilge agus litríocht na Gaeilge, ar stair, ar sheandálaíocht, ar bhéaloideas, agus ar logainmneacha na hÉireann mar aon le hábhair atá gaolmhar leo seo. Is é aidhm atá ag an iris toradh an taighde is deireanaí i ngach ceann de na brainsí léinn seo a chur ar fail go háisiúil do scoláirí sna brainsí eile. I ngach uimhir bíonn roinnt alt a gcuirfeadh pobal níos fairsinge suim iontu, mar atá aistí ginearálta ar thréimhsí staire nó ar ghnéithe den litríocht. Déantar cúram ar leith de na léirmheasanna mar is iontu sin go háirithe a chuirfear aidhm na hirise i gcrích.
