This project is a case study of the development of a working model for community artists. This project considers the working model developed in Co Wexford by the Arts Office of W.C.C. and local artists working with children. It examines how this model marries the needs and aspirations of both the Council and the artists: on the part of the Council, to have artists living and working in the locality in a way that contributes to the quality of life of Wexford people; on the part of the artists, to live and work and make a living in a community while maintaining and developing their identity as artists.
