Challenging behaviour in Special Schools in Ireland: Prevalence, Impact and Needs

The aim of the study is to describe the prevalence and severity of challenging behaviour in Special Schools in Ireland, its effects on principals, teachers, pupils and boards of management, the strategies used by schools to respond to challenging behaviour and the perceived resources needed by schools to deal with this issue.
