Teaching and Learning in the college is promoted and shared through a number of structures and initiatives:

Teaching and Learning Coordinator and Committee

Dr Anita Prunty is the Acting Senior Lecturer with Responsibility for Teaching and Learning. Anita works with the Teaching and Learning Committee to support and promote innovation in teaching and learning throughout the college.

Anita is a Lecturer in the Special Education Department and a member of the Centre for Human Rights and Citizenship Education.

Promoting Innovation in Teaching and Learning

Promoting innovation in learning and teaching is achieved by the funding of staff innovation. This may be via funding or awards, which take place annually in the College.

Support for Staff Development

There is general support for staff development through the provision of staff development lectures, seminars and workshops throughout the college year.
